This bachelor's thesis entitled "Syndrome CAN" or the syndrome of an abused, abused and neglected child is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical (empirical) part. The first part discusses violence against children, forms of violence, consequences, but also prevention based on knowledge from relevant professional sources. The second part contains a description and results of a survey aimed at determining the awareness of secondary school students about CAN syndrome. A questionnaire was chosen as a research tool.
Comparison of the Approach to Human Trafficking for the Purpose of Sexual Exploitation in the Czech and Slovak Republics

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of sex trafficking in the Czech and Slovak Republics from the division of Czechoslovakia to the present. The aim of the thesis is to compare the development of both republics in the fight against this crime and emphasize the differences in their approaches to this issue. The thesis analyzes the main actors dealing with sex trafficking in both republics, namely the state sector and the non-profit sector. It examines how the policy regarding human trafficking operates in these republics and the level of cooperation between the non-profit sector and the state sector. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the theory of comparison and various comparative approaches used to compare both republics. It also addresses problematic factors that may influence the results of the comparison. The practical part of the thesis employs a mixed-method approach and gathers data through semi-structured interviews with experts on the subject. The research has shown that there are significant differences between the two republics. The main difference lies in the relationship between the ministry and the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, which subsequently influences the state of laws and policies in these areas. Sexuality and partnerships of people with intellectual disability: society´s perspective

This bachelor thesis is focusing on the society´s attitude to romantic relationships and sexuality of people with intellectual disability. The thesis is devided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the definition of terms like intellectual disability, romantic relationships and sexuality. Moreover it addresses specifics of romantic relationships and sexuality of people with intellectual disability, it warns of sexual abuse and it also tries to highlight the importance of sex education and providing information about romatic relationships and sexuality to people with intellectual disability. Finally, the theoretical part of the thesis shifts its attention to the rights of individuals with intellectual disability to lead a sexual life, then it describes the development of Czech society's attitudes towards romantic relationships and sexuality of individuals with intellectual disability and it also focuses on the prejudices and myths about sexuality and romantic relationships of persons with intellectual disability which are the most commonly circulating in society. The practical part leads to fulfill the aim of the bachelor thesis. The aim of the thesis is to explore the view of Czech society on romantic relationships and sexuality of people with intellectual disability, including the view on sexual abuse, sex education and providing information about sexuality and romantic relationships to people with intellectual disability. The practical part of the thesis uses quantitative research. A questionnaire was applied to collect data. Eight hundred thirty eight respondents took part in the survey. The bachelor's thesis can serve to increase the general awareness of the society on the topic of romantic relationships and sexuality of individuals with intellectual disabilities and also as a subject for reflection on our own attitudes towards this topic.
Family factors of sibling incest development

(in English): This thesis focuses on the issue of sibling incest with special emphasis on the influence of family environment on its development. The theoretical part first discusses the topic of sexual abuse in general, since it is a main area covering the issue of sibling incest. This includes a definition, history, the key characteristics, and a description of the perpetrator and victim. In a similar vein, the theoretical part then covers the topic of incest as a sexual abuse within family, sharing many common characteristics with sibling incest. Finally, the theoretical part gives an overview of sibling incest, including a comparison with father-daughter incest, possible after-effects, a description of the perpetrator and victim, and a discussion of the family system. The empirical part provides a discussion of the individual family factors that contribute to the sibling incest development. This discussion is based on an analysis of foreign literature, as well as interviews conducted with Czech experts. Given the analysis of both sources, one can conclude that, overall, family factors contribute to the sibling incest development. However, they are not the only elements involved with this phenomenon.

Specificity of interrogation of children

This diploma thesis deals with specificity in interrogation of children during the legal proceedings. This topic is not interesting just from the legal and criminalistic point of view, but also from the view of investigative practice. The aim of this work is to map in detail situation that deals with repeated examination of children under the age of fifteen in position of victim or witness. I mainly focused on child victim of sexual abuse, because child is the most vulnerable and it is essential to conduct the examination as sensitively as possible. However, the person who conducts the examination needs to get necessary information, because during these criminal acts child is often the only one who can provide testimony. The first chapter deals with legislation of children as witnesses. In the first part of the chapter I define the term child according to various legal sources. Secondly I deal with the legal point of view dealing with the topic of interrogation of child as a witness which is according to the Criminal Procedure Code. I evaluate it, suggest and justify possible modifications. The second chapter deals with issues related to the topic of interrogation of children mainly from the criminalistic and psychological point of view.
